Change of Major information for each of the offered majors is available at each College of Agriculture Academic Department Office. Students should make an appointment with the Department Head in the proposed major to see if they meet the transfer requirements of that department and ensure this is this change will accomplish their educational goals. (Note: the specific requirements may vary from department to department.) If approved by the Department Head and their is available space, the "Change of Major" form is sent to the Dean's office for approval. At the Dean's level the student will receive approval only if the Department head of the proposed major has approved the request, the student's Cal Poly GPA is 2.000 or greater, and the students Higher Education GPA is 2.000 or greater.
