If You Are Applying as a Freshman
Read the information on the Admissions Web page regarding freshman admission criteria. Admission to Cal Poly is competitive. The application is available on-line through CSU Mentor. Fill it out carefully and double-check its accuracy before you submit it. There is no opportunity for revision once it is sent. Freshmen are accepted during the fall and summer application cycles.
If You Are Applying as a Transfer
Utilize the information on the Cal Poly Admissions Web page to obtain the most complete picture of what classes you should take to be competitive in the admissions process. It is more important to have the major specified classes complete than it is to have your general education requirements done if you want to enter Cal Poly as a true junior. Transfer students are accepted for fall, winter and summer.
